CEES now offers a precipitation probability product customized for
South Texas.
Four sets of probability maps are available for each month of the
calendar year.

50% Probability maps indicate how average rainfall varies in South
Texas
•
20% Probability maps reflect rainy months with a likelihood of
occurring only once every 5 years
•
10% Probability maps reflect very rainy months with a likelihood
of occurring only once every 10 years
•
5% Probability maps reflect extremely rainy months with a likelihood
of occurring only once every 20 years
